Tesla China said it has started taking bookings for its made-in-China Model Y and production of the preordered cars will start from next year.

Two models of Model Y are currently available for preorder, with starting prices of 488,000 yuan ($70,600) and 535,000 yuan respectively, said the company, adding that the current booking price is only an estimate and the actual price will be subject to final announcements.
