A ceremony to distribute in-line skates to pupils at a primary school in Fuping county, North China’s Hebei province, was held on Friday, a gesture from the province’s sport authorities to promote more children’s participation in winter sports.

The Bayi Hope Center Primary School in Chengnanzhuang town, Fuping county, which is in a mountainous area and just rose out of poverty this year, received 56 pairs of in-line skates from the Hebei Provincial Bureau of Sport.
